06.10.22 This weekend on YouTube: BCB #50 – Fifty Episodes of 8-Bit Love! & Unbox’d #18 – Open Sesame! (What I won on Ferg’s #Atari 2600 Podcast!)

This weekend, I posted two new videos to my #vintagegaming #YouTube channel. Both are pretty exciting, imho! In BCB #50, I celebrate 50 episodes in the 9 months I've had my channel, and I've had some wonderful times. I detail some of those and discuss future updates, as well as show some clips & read some 'mail.' Last, but not least, in UNBOX'D #18 - "Open Sesame!," I open what I won from Ferg's Atari 2600 Game by Game podcast, and it's pretty awesome! 11.07.21 May I Borrow You For a Minute? (Poetry, 2021)

"May I Borrow You For a Minute?" was written on October 23, 2021, and is contained in my personal poetry book for Oct-Dec 2021, 'Earthly Delights in a Closed Type Universe.' It's about tortured souls and what not, and how they like to feed off people's energy. I did that for a long time myself (can we say, my entire 30's?) Anyhow, growing up is all about self-awareness and changing your ways, becoming a better version of yourself, as I like to do every year. (haha) Enjoy. -BB

11.3.21 The More Melancholy Aspects of an Interpersonal Relationship (Poetry, 1999)

For your perusal is this turbulent poem from way back in August 1999, when I was a drug addict, living on the streets of Dallas. (It originally appeared on my blog, Ballistik, on LiveJournal, where I used to blog for 10 years, from 1995-2005.) This poem was written five years after my dear friend Kevin drowned in a hot tub in 1994. I was going through drug withdrawals at the time and was contemplating suicide when I wrote this. (I've been clean for 21 years so this is no longer who I am, but I just thought I'd share. We all have our rock bottom, and this was one of mine.) -BB
