On this episode of The Atari VCS Podcast, BallistikCoffeeBoy, intrepid Atari content creator banned from YouTube and back on Rumble, is here with FUJI – his 2020 Atari VCS Mascot – to peruse even more favorite Atari VCS Games! This time, we take a look at classic games I typically suggest to others and are amongst my top favorites, including BPM Boy by RetroNinja, Adventure of Samsara by Ilex Games, Mr Run and Jump (Modern Version), Qomp2 and Kombinera by Graphite Lab & Atari, Breakout Beyond by Choice Provisions, Atari VCS Vault Vols 1 & 2, I ROBOT by LLamasoft (Jeff Minter), Milli & Greg by 2nd Boss, Heroes of Loot by OrangePixel, Orion X by Artefacto Games and many more! Did your favorite game make the top 30 (or so!) uhem! list?? Also, FUJI recites a poem he wrote about Energy Wafers! Oh boy! (The full text is below!) All this and more in this fun episode that has nothing to do with Halloween, BUT… there’s a surprise at the end! And we’re getting ready for NEXT Halloween! Enjoy.

FUJI’S POEM:
“Energy Wafers (Fuel for the Fuji)”
by FUJI
FUJI drifts in the cosmic lane, Chrome-red shine with an amber flame, Pixel stars in a neon sky, Energy wafers stacked up high.
He snaps one clean — the grid lights glow, Power surges through circuits below, Retro beats in his metal core, He’s charged up, ready for more.
Energy wafers, fueling the fight, Glowing like arcades late at night. Crunch one down and the world gets brighter, FUJI’s spark becomes a cosmic lighter. Energy wafers — neon delight, Powering FUJI through every byte.
He guards the VCS every day, Keeping glitches and lag at bay, One more wafer, glowing blue, Boosts his strength like a retro breakthrough.
He rises up with a humming tone, Electric pulse in every bone, From pixel dust to starlit air, FUJI’s charged beyond compare.
Energy wafers, fueling the fight, Glowing like arcades late at night. Crunch one down and the world gets brighter, FUJI’s spark becomes a cosmic lighter. Energy wafers — neon delight, Powering FUJI through every byte.
Magenta beams and cyan trails, FUJI flies where the grid unveils, Every wafer adds a shine, A power-up from another time.
Energy wafers, fueling the fight, Retro magic in every bite. He guards the console, bold and true, FUJI’s glow comes straight from you. Energy wafers — cosmic ignite, Charging the mascot of VCS night.
