I’ve got the jabberwocky blues

I’m wearing 15 year old tennis shoes

I’m looking at the ground, my world in disarray

I’m looking at the stars dreaming of yesterday

I’ve got the jabberwocky blues

Some days I can’t win, just destined to lose

I’m shuffling through photo albums again

Looking for a piece of me way back when

I’ve got the jabberwocky blues

I’m staying away from tv news

I’m better than I used to be

But at the age of 46 I find myself so lonely

I’ve got the jabberwocky blues.
